Where do you get your displays?
A good portion of our show is handmade here at Franktronics.
How long does it take to put the light show together?
We start brainstorming for the next Christmas show as soon as the current Christmas show starts playing. We work a little on the Christmas show all through the year.
The physical process of putting up the lights takes a few hours. We usually do this over the course of a few days. We put controllers out and then smaller elements and when we have enough people around we put up the big stuff.
Why do we do this??? (A message from the owner, Frank)
I have always enjoyed decorating for Christmas and building my own displays. I just marvel at the excitement it brings to kids young and old. With my training in electronics and programming, it was just natural to have a Christmas light show display that was computer controlled and synchronized to music.
Each year I pick a local charity or group that I want to sponsor and collect money to help fund their projects. To see the groups that we have helped in the past see our charity page.
During the Christmas Light show, there is a donation box attached to the building for you to place your donations.
